
I have tried DirectX and OpenGL and the game still runs slower than expected. I just purchased a new ASUS branded AMD R9 290 graphics card with 4GB vram and the performance with Trainz is the same or even worse than my previous card (EVGA GTX 650ti BOOST with 2GB Vram).
